Q: What are the prices of a Sew Much for That party? A: Adult party price is $30 per person participating (3hour). Tween & Teen $15pp (2hour). Scout $12pp/10 min. (2hour). Adult group/corporate rates are available.
Q: Do you run children's parties?
A: Yes! Sew Much for That does tween & teen parties. Scouts can earn Sewing and Recycling badges. Typically, one project is selected: T-Shirt Tote, T-Shirt Couture, Treasure Bowl, Recycled Jewelry, I've Created a Monster!, etc. and everyone completes the same project. Project ideas.
We have sewing and no-sew projects available for children. We are VERY FOCUSED ON SAFETY. Most sewing is done by instructors.
Each child receives:
Individual one on one attention with their project
A color handout on the selected project
A handout and special instruction about sewing and craft safety
An opportunity to sew if the child wants to under very supervised conditions

Q: As a host, what is expected of me?
A: You and your guests can enjoy your time together at ease knowing that WE DO THE SEWING. You provide a place to gather with friends and we bring everything else! Sewing machines, thread, shears, extension cords, and you never know what embellishments, baubles and extras we bring in our Trunk of Junk. We bring examples based on your interests and a book filled with hundreds of ideas from the Sew Much for That Pinterest page.
Q: Can I host a party at a venue other than my home?
A: Certainly. We are happy to contact a venue for you to see if they can accommodate your event and our requirements. Great ideas include school or church hall, library, boutique, private room of a restaurant or bar. You are responsible for all venue rental costs including cancellation costs.
Q: Will I really be able to make something in the time allowed? What if I have never sewn before?
A: We have created the Sew Much for That Eco-Sew Party for people without any sewing experience!
We do the machine sewing and guide you through the rest. You can enjoy yourself at your event without the pressure of sewing. We come out with over 50 examples of repurposed and recycled items.

A: At Payment is due at time of party. Deposit may be required for large venue and corporate events. Acceptable forms of payment: Cash, PayPal, Zelle, Quickpay, etc.
Q: What is the minimum/maximum number of people that can participate?
A: The minimum number is three and the maximum number is restricted only by your venue space.
Q: Typically, how long are parties?
A: Adult pricing is based on three hour party. Set-up and break down time is included in this time frame. Anticipate 15 minutes to set up and 15 min to pack up. Youth parties typically run two hours.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Please call (847-366-6225) and give us 48 hour notice for your cancellation. We have customers that are on a waiting list. This allows us to accommodate those requests. If you do not call and let us know about canceling your reservation, you run the risk of losing your credit/payment. We can always credit your reservation for another night if you let us know.
